Acne Management Decision Wheel
V1, Zu's design, in the SmartGula look. Draft for Zu, Dr Wahida and Print Lab. Ain Studio, October 2026.
Try it
A 3D model of the card wheel that works like Zu's paper prototype. Each blade pivots on the centre rivet: drag or tap the ones that match the face toward their own grade and they gather into one stack per colour. The counts show how many blades are in each stack; reading the grade stays with the pharmacist.
Every grade has a treatment leaf, a third of the disc in blue card lying behind it. Pull the grade's '>' handle and the leaf swings 60° clockwise on an eyelet at the rim, so its list sits beside the wheel. Drag the coloured ring to turn the whole wheel on its centre press stud. The press stud is also how the wheel comes off the stand to show the customer.
Take apart shows every layer Print Lab has to cut: stand face, three treatment leaves, base disc, ring, twelve blades and the rivet. Put on the stand shows how it sits on the counter.
Drag to turn the view, pinch or scroll to zoom.

Questions for Zu
- The treatment list repeats items 1 to 8 under every grade. Should each leaf show only what that grade adds?
- Grade 3's list jumps from 9 to 11. Is an item missing?
- Clascoterone 1% is listed. Is it available in Malaysia?
- What is the source to cite for the IAA grading table?
- Moderate acne has no short description on the ring yet (mild has "Predominance of comedones", severe has "Many nodules").
- The four "how to use" steps on the front are our wording from your video. Are they right, and what should a pharmacist do on a tie, for example two green and two yellow blades out?
- The blades say "Nodules <3" but "Nodules/cysts >3" (as on your paper wheel), and exactly 3 nodules fits neither. Which wording and cut-off do you want?
- Your five look-alike photos are on the back panel now. One carries a DermNet watermark and one has an eye bar. Do we have permission to print them, or should we source others?
- Lesion photos for the blades: who supplies them, including scarring?
- What goes in the empty space at the bottom of the back panel: names, UiTM logo, supervisor?
- Print Lab die-cuts from our cutting design, so we will send the cut lines with the artwork. We still need from them: the board, the finished size, and whether they can fit a press stud at the centre (it turns the wheel and lets it peel off the stand). Everything here assumes an A4 face and a 190 mm wheel.
- Print Lab stocks a 5 mm eyelet, so each leaf's rim pivot is drawn for 5 mm. Once the board and size are confirmed we will send the exact leaf cut sizes. Does 5 mm suit them for all three leaves?
